Working with me

I'm Carrie, a brand and graphic designer and owner of clh design. I have 19 years experience within branding and graphic design. I’m based in Hertfordshire, but work for clients all over the UK and abroad.

Branding and brand identity are at the centre of any business, but the marketplace is extremely saturated. Often it’s hard to know where to start.

My approach is simple and effective, producing high-quality design, with no fuss. Whether you require a new brand identity, a rebrand or a design for your next brochure, I'm here to guide you through the process.

Getting to know you and your vision for your business is essential, so before I get to work, we would have an initial consultation to understand your expectations. I will talk you through my process and what you will get from my packages.

Discover

I'll provide you with a branding questionnaire to help you focus your brand, to discover your brand personality and ideal client.

Design

I'll create a brand vision, including mood board, colour palettes, font styles and initial concepts. You will get 2 rounds of revisions to tweak and finalise your chosen idea to ensure you are happy with it.

Launch

Once the chosen concept has been finalsied, I'll create a logo pack with all variations and files for print and digital purpose. I will also supply brand guidelines detailing colour palette and fonts. You will then have all you need to launch your new brand identity!

I'm a hardworking wife and mum to one boy. I am a bit of a coffee and biccy addict but I like to think that helps my creativity ; )

I believe that strong ideas are at the core of beautiful design. Throughout school, college and uni, I was passionately creative and I graduated with a BA in 2D Design from the University of Hertfordshire in 2001. Having worked in both agency and in-house environments before setting up on my own, I have experience across a range of business types and needs and can provide unique design solutions for every brief. My bespoke service is always reliable, high-quality and competitively priced. By working closely with my clients, I am able to help make any business shine!
